Jim Condit Jr. is a legally qualified federal candidate for the 2020 election to the United States House of Representatives from Ohio’s Second Congressional District. Pursuant to the Reasonable Access Law Section 312(a)(7) of the Communications Act and Section 73.1944 of the FCC rules, FCC licensed Radio and TV stations are required to provide reasonable access to candidates for federal elective office, if federal candidates pay for and order ads and airtime. Therefore, pursuant to Section 73.1940, Federal Candidate, Jim Condit Jr. purchased airtime for 9 weeks; running 1 minute ads on WLW and 1-hour shows on WKRC, both iHeart Media owned radio stations, up until the election. iHeart Media, who owns over 850 radio stations, and appears to be majority foreign owned, successfully censored the last 6 weeks of Jim Condit Jr.'s ads and shows leading up to the election. iHeart Media petitioned the FCC to allow 100% foreign ownership in violation of Section 310(b)(4) of the Communications Act of 1934, which establishes a twenty-five percent benchmark… Jim Condit Jr. is the only candidate that iHeart censored in the United States in 2020, and after signing a contract and taking the money.
